“It’s classified” is a phrase used to describe something that is not meant to be shared with the general public. This phrase is often used about government secrets or other information meant to be kept confidential.
A classified example is a mascara ad in a magazine—noun 2. The classified definition is classified or is only available to specific people. Examples of classified things are different types of animals.
Classified information may be designated Top Secret, Confidential, or Confidential. This classification is used only in matters of national interest. Top Secret: Applies when the compromise is reasonably likely to cause severe harm to the national interest.
